Charming, recently renovated "Mountain High" and new "Creekside" sit at almost 3000 ft. above sea level, borders the Nat'l Forest, and are easily accessed right off Hwy. 151, 12 miles southwest of Asheville.  The gated driveway is lined with tall Hemlocks, Oaks, Poplars, and wild Rhododendrons, winding up to the house and new gameroom/guest cottage!   Plenty of parking!  Tranquil and private, there's plenty of space for the kids to romp and play- both inside (gameroom) and out! 

Oak  hardwood floors, stained glass, stone walls, antiques, a window wall, stone fireplace (gaslog) are just some of the unique features at Mountain High.  The fully equipped kitchen (all new appliances w/ dishwasher) opens conveniently into the dining area where a large oak table looks out on the forest and hills. 

Comfortable beds and luxury bedding are a priority!   BEDROOM 1 - Master Bedroom with new queen pillowtop;   BEDROOM 2 & 3 are the Guest suite - a new queen pillowtop in BEDROOM 2,  and BEDROOM 3 (attached to # 2) has twin size daybed and trundle.  Off the hall between the Master and Guest Suite is a full bath.   BEDROOM 4  (split plan) has a comfy futon and 2nd full bath (with a washer/dryer),  makes an ideal family setup!  Mountain High sleeps up to 8.

The  new Creekside guest house/gameroom is a 25'x30' (vaulted ceiling) "great" room...with a fully equipped kitchen - brand new appliances including dishwasher, island with bar stools, dining area, 42" HDTV with satellite TV - movie channels, complete with surround sound, DVD,comfortable couches, very comfortable queen sofabed  and queen airbed (luxury bedding for both);  gaslog fireplace; pool table; assorted games; 2 sets of French doors that open onto a covered screened deck (12'x30') overlooking the creek; outdoor dining table and chairs, gas grill, rocking chairs and more!!  Off the " great room" is a full bath, 9' closet and stack washer/dryer. The Creekside sleeps up to 4.

Outdoor provisions at Mountain High include a deck, flagstone patio, picnic table and gas grill.  Across the driveway and down a few steps, the campfire site beckons the fireflies and eager children waiting to play in the creek or roast marshmallows!

GREAT HIKING FOR MILES RIGHT OUT THE DOOR - scenic views at every turn! 

Although smoking is not permitted inside, the decks provide both convenience and a sand bucket for this activity.  PETS are considered on an individual basis with a non-refundable $75 per pet fee.

WE SUPPLY:  paper goods, luxury bedding, fluffy towels, 2 fully-equipped kitchens, 2 microwaves, 2 toasters, 2 crockpots,2 coffee makers,  spices salt, pepper and delilicious well water!
